Reflection on the Business Impacts of Blogs

Dear Mr. Peterson,

In today's fast paced world, technology and digital media is dominating. We have become so dependent on it that the thought of not having Internet access is "excruciating". Why am I bringing that up? I would like to reflect on the discussion we had yesterday. There are probably many websites we like to constantly check out. Also, blogging is becoming more and more popular among businesses and this is absolutely a great tool to communicate and engage with customers. However, as we discussed, creating a blog for our company would not have a significant impact on it.

As Supply Chain Management Service company we focus on our customers satisfaction and outstanding service, and we are definitely looking forward to any comments and posts on our company’s website. There is no need to create a separate blog. The fact there is no cost associated with creating the blog is really relevant, unfortunately, looking deeper, that is really not the case. Within this tool there would have to be a new employee hired for overlooking, replaying to posts or making comments. This unfortunately decreases our revenue without not much benefits to the company itself. In my opinion, we would be better off to hold on creating a blog for our company and be more concerned with our existing processes.

Best Regards,
Anna Szperlak
